Wonsupona was enlisted to name a new company with a vision to end one of the cruelest realities in oncology: the trial-and-error approach that leaves most patients enduring chemotherapy treatments that won’t work for them. The platform can test a patient’s own tumor tissue against more than 200 FDA-approved drugs, revealing, within days, which therapies would work. An incredible scientific breakthrough, the brand needed a name that captured both its clinical authority and its human promise.

Challenge
The task was to create a name that could rise above jargon-heavy competitors. It had to resonate with oncologists, investors, and families in moments of fear and urgency. The name needed to sound credible and clinical, but also deeply human, instilling confidence and hope while signaling an end to cancer’s guessing game.

Biocerta brings together “Bio” for life and “Certa” for certainty. In just two syllables, it promises what matters most: life guided by certainty. It’s clear and memorable, making it as functional in the clinic as it is powerful in conversation.
