So ladies and little women, you all know I do the #CSP and with my recent dive in to my gorgeous undies making, I had an epiphany 🌟🌟🌟 Why not combine the two!! So I’m now formally introducing you to the period panties! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 These are made with lovely soft fabric that is easy on skin just like my normal undies that I make, but the added bonus is the gusset is made exactly like a cloth sanitary pad. It has 4 fabulous layers consisting of 2 top layers of brushed flannelette, this layer quickly absorbs your period and takes it down to one layer of zorb which stores/collects your period followed by a final layer of PUL, which is a great barrier which stops any blood from the zorb getting to the gusset part of the actual knickers. Therefore getting none on your clothes! They hold up to two tampons worth of bleeding which depending on your flow could last you up to the equivalent of 16 hours. So not only could they be suitable for a working day for us ladies who know how our bodies work, but what about your daughters? Save the embarrassment of taking pads or tampons to school or even leaks happening at school. They wash just like normal CSP, simply pop them off hand wash with cold water, or leave them to soak then pop them in the wash like your normal knickers.
