Lingerie dresses and lingerie blouses are garments made from lightweight, light-coloured fabrics worn as both day and informal evening wear in hot climates in the Edwardian era.  They feature tucks, embroidery, and lace insertion techniques originally primarily seen in undergarments: hence their name.
