Vintage Margaretha Ley for Escada Couture unique black wool suit style romper with sheer black built in top under a faux wrap style bodice with a deep v-neck fastened at the waist by 4 gold and rhinestone "E" monogram vertical buttons. Rare Escada romper to wear as a day dress alternative.

We love pieces designed by Margaretha Ley for Escada, but we especially love this rare vintage Escada Couture romper! This unique black wool suit style romper is the perfect day dress alternative.

There is a sheer black built in top under a faux wrap style bodice with a deep v-neck fastened at the waist by 4 gold and rhinestone E monogram vertical buttons.

From the front, this just looks like a wrap style dress, but once you lift the outer fabric, fabulous shorts are revealed underneath. There are shoulder pads for structure and vertical darts at the waist band that accentuate and flatter the waistline.

Each cuff has 3 gold rhinestone buttons and there is a metal zipper down center back seam. 100% New Wool. Made in Germany. Labeled size 38 , and we estimate this would best fit a modern 8. Please use the measurements as a guide for the best fit!

In excellent condition- Originally had cuffs and collar that were removable and not present. A few rhinestones missing from buttons.

This is a really fun vintage 1990's Escada short sleeve black dress with ivory trim and black and white striped piping. The lower portion of skirt is
