Such a fantastic lingerie set from the 1940s or 1950s. The set is a gorgeous white satin slip cotton embroidered lace at the neckline as well as a pair of satin shorts with the same cotton embroidered lace at the side front hems. The slip is bias cut, has adjustable straps and hits below the knee.

The set is a gorgeous white satin slip cotton embroidered lace at the neckline as well as a pair of satin shorts with the same cotton embroidered lace at the side front hems. The slip is bias cut, has adjustable straps and hits below the knee. It's very tiny and I could not get it over the shoulders on my dressform so it was just pinned to the form. The shots button at the side with extended button tabs. This is not original, the tabs have been added to extend the size since this set is so tiny. Can easily go back to the original by removing the tabs and sewing the buttons back onto the placket. No label, it has been removed. Condition is great. Signs of general wear and age. There is a small rust mark at right side lace, see pic. There are also 2 holes in the lace at each side of center, see pics. A hole along the back edge, where the lace attaches, where the label has been removed. A pink mark is at the center back waistband of the shorts. Washed with OxiClean and ready to wear. Measurements Slip Bust: 32" Waist: 27" Hip: 34" Length Center Back to Hem: 30" Shorts Waist: 25 1/2" (With extension) 22" (Original waist) Hip: 40" Length Front: 15" Length Back: 15" Dress form measurements for reference: 31”, 23”, 33 1/2" Sold as is so please ask any additional questions or for additional photos. These are vintage items and I may miss a minor flaw here and there. I will, however, accept returns if I have misrepresented the garment completely or there is some major problem.
