Description

Panels Our panels are rotationally molded from polyethylene, which is known for being highly puncture resistant, very robust, and UV resistant,. We use linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), as we have found it to have the right mixture of strength and flexibility to guarantee the panels will always fit together and provide a strong, durable shelter for many years. The panels are foam-filled to add strength and insulation. To assemble the camper, the panels are connected at the top, middle, and bottom with interlocking tabs using simple screws. A water tight edge gasket provides a seal between the panels. Each panel has a sturdy tie down ring on both the inside and outside. There are threaded inserts on the interior wall of each panel, making it a snap to install furnishings. When not in use, the panels nest together for compact storage or shipping. Panel Dimensions: 60″ x 21″ x 2-3″ walls Weight: 21 lbs. (non-window), 29 lbs (window with screen/shade combo) Door Assembly The door frame is made of lightweight aluminum tubing and replaces any two wall panels on the Tail Feather Camper. The lightweight, sturdy door is installed on lift-off hinges, making it easy to transport and handle. All the surfaces on the door assembly are UV-treated and backed with foam for insulation. Windows Made from shatterproof acrylic that will not yellow with age, the swing-out window is operated by a locking push handle. A replaceable screen and a simple push-in curtain rod are supplied with each window panel.
