Step Up for Cancer is a multi-generational stair-climbing event open to families and individuals of all ages. The event took place inside the stadium at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. About 1,500 people of all ages took part in the festivities. Participants raised money by pledges and gave their money to their chosen charity. Participants tried to run the entire stadium which is 33 rows of stairs. Organizers estimate that they raised over $125,000.
