Carriwell Seamless Gel Wire Nursing Bra Review - The Frugal Ginger

I have found a great site for all of you expecting and nursing mamas. Figure 8 Maternity is a great place to get all of your maternity and nursing apparel. They have some really cute stuff from the top brands in maternity fashion. My favorite part is their clearance section ( be sure to check that out)! They really have everything you will need during and after pregnancy like shapers, bump belts, delivery gowns, and so much more. Figure 8 Maternity was kind enough to send me one of their new nursing bras to review. I was sent the new Carriwell Seamless Gel Wire Nursing Bra. When I received the bra, the package was beautifully wrapped in tissue paper which I think adds a special touch when you get something in the mail. The nursing bra doesn't come in typical bra sizes but in small, medium, and large sizes so check the size chart before ordering. I ordered a size small and it fits great. The Carriwell Seamless Gel Wire Nursing Bra is not very pretty, it is sort of plain but it is super comfortable. I think I am going to be more concerned with comfort over beauty during this time anyway :). I love that it has wide straps to give added support and the cups are very roomy and can expand up to 2 cup sizes to fluctuate with the changes associated with nursing. The fabric is microfiber so it is very soft. The bra also comes with extenders so you can wear the bra during and after pregnancy to really get your money's worth. I did have a little trouble with the nursing clasps. I was able to undo the clasps with just one hand but I had to use both hands to get it snapped back into place. Maybe I just need more practice. I love the underwire in this bra. I am normally not a fan of underwire but this type is different. Instead of having an actual wire, the bra has gel as the underwire. This makes it so comfortable but you still get the much needed support. The bra really is so comfy that I can see myself wearing it at night as well as during the day.
