This popular recipe can now be yours! After much trial and error I've mastered a perfect Lemongrass mentholated shower steamer which has been one of my best sellers! It is the ultimate DIY Menthol Shower Steamer Recipe and it's foolproof!
I've created a 3-page document with detailed step-by-step instructions, and complete list of ingredients needed so that you can make these shower steamers right at home. I've also included a list of suppliers and links to purchase the supplies for great prices.
Shower steamers soothe sinuses and relieve congestion with a combination of menthol crystals and essential oils. These are excellent for cold/flu/sinusitis, chest or sinus congestion. These are made to fizz on the shower floor and release the menthol and essential oils into the steam of your shower like a diffuser. Each tablet should last 10-15 minutes, so be sure to save the unused portion for your next shower!
To use, simply place the steamer on the shower floor, not directly under the shower spray, but just at the outer edge of the spray furthest from the drain (or some people place in the soap dish for more concentration) for a continuous release of soothing menthol and essential oils.
INGREDIENTS you'll need to purchase to make these: Baking Soda, Cornstarch, Citric Acid, Menthol Crystals, Coconut Oil, Lemongrass Essential Oil, 91% Isopropyl Alcohol, Witch Hazel, and Bath Bomb/Soap Colorant (optional).
