About the Fiona top pattern: This pattern has written instructions and reduced abbreviations to make it easier to follow. There are lots of photos to guide you step by step in making this long sleeve crochet crop top. Sizing guidance (measurements in inches and amount of chains needed) is provided as you move on to the next step. This is to make the process of making the top flow nicely, and to make it less overwhelming, perfect for advanced beginners! You will need knowledge of how to slip knot, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet and slip stitch. It is written in English with US terminology. Materials used are DK weight 4mm Paintbox Yarns acrylic yarn (200-350g depending on size), 4mm crochet hook for the whole top and either 7 or 8mm crochet hook (for the tie - or you can continue using 4mm hook), scissors, measurement tape and stitch marks. Feel free to experiment with different yarn weights and hook sizes, but this may result in different sizing and appearance. I also like to use a 3.5mm hook to make this top. This pattern has general size guidance for sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and has adjustable tightness at the back.
