David Luke Maggi, 75 of Hopewell Township, on March 19th, 2024, while surrounded by his family, and in the arms of his beloved wife, peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dave was born May 20th, 1948, son to the late Luke and Rose (Tarallo) Maggi. Dave was a retired Vice President of 30 years at Red Valve Corp, where so many of his employees thrived under his leadership. He was a life long member of Montour Heights Country Club, where he loved spending time perfecting his golf game (or trying to); and, many hours spent with a great group of guys, in the gin room. (Best player in the room) But his favorite thing to do was spending time with his wife Michele, with whom he shared a very special love. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Michele (Trobak) Maggi, two sons, Greg (Amanda), Todd (Jenn) Maggi, 5 grandchildren, Amelia, Josh (Courtney) Aaron, Luke, and Marco, and the newest addition, great grandson Oliver. Dave could not have loved, or been more proud of each of them. In addition he is survived by two brothers Paul (Cathy), Daniel Maggi, two sisters, Diane, (Tom), Roncone, and Marsha Maggi, as well as numerous brother and sister in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews, with which he had uniquely special relationships. Some considered him to be more of a father than an uncle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Dave has touched so many lives with his kindness, words of wisdom, encouraging advice, and to all, one of his most endearing traits Playful Instigator. All Services for David will be private.
