Made in the USA by Shadowline, this never worn pair of size Small nylon panties has an attached original paper hang tag. White, with a pretty side accent of blush pink and white sheer floral lace, they are chic and sexy too. These are a short version of the tap panty style that was very popular in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Please use these measurements to assure your best fit: Waist ~~~ 22 to 31 inches Hip ~~~ 48 inches Full length ~~~ 12 inches Hemline of each leg ~~~ 26 inches An attached fabric content label reads "Shadowline, Made in USA, Small, All Nylon, Exclusive of Trim, Machine Wash Gentle, Do not bleach, Tumble dry low". At the waist there is a band of elastic that is still completely stretchy. As you can see in the photos, this lovely pair is in Mint Vintage condition, with all seams intact, no stains, odors, snags or holes. This was an original Salesroom sample, meant to be displayed in a Shadowline showroom. That is where department store and boutique lingerie buyers would come to see what was available to order. The salesroom is where they could buy merchandise in bulk for a future season. Note that the salesperson wrote the retail price of these panties on the paper hang tag. When the order was delivered to the store or boutique the paper tag would have had a Shadowline paper tag with that price shown. The price when these were sold would have been $6 and that was back in the late 1970's. In today's dollar values that would equate to about $24. The back view is shown in the final photo.
