Made for Mermaids Sewing Patterns are digital downloads. You will print OR project them at home, OR send them to a copy shop to print. This is not a physical garment or pattern, and nothing will be mailed to you. Aphrodite is a classic knit thong and string-back underwear. These are incredibly quick to sew, and you can choose from several finishing options to give different looks. It includes both a low-rise and mid-rise option. The mid-rise has a normal coverage and full coverage option. Choose from a thong back or string back on all options. You can finish the leg line with fold-over or picot elastic. Finish the waist with fold-over elastic, picot, thick waistband elastic, or stretch lace. Aphrodite will be your new go-to thong! Aphrodite Features: •Made for knit fabrics. •2 back options: thong or string back. •2 rises: mid-rise or low rise. •2 mid-rise coverage options: normal and a full coverage option. •2 waistband options: thin elastic or wide elastic. Use FOE, picot, waistband elastic, or stretch lace for the waistband. •Choose FOE or picot to finish the leg line. •Includes 2 full sew-through videos. (See the thong HERE See the string back HERE). Sizes (includes both imperial and metric measurements): •Fits high hip sizes: 29″-63″ or 73.6 – 160 cm •Fits full hip sizes: 34″-64″ or 86.3 – 162.5 cm. Skill level: •Confident beginner- sewing the elastics will be the most difficult for a beginner. Suggested Fabrics: •Medium-weight fabric with at least 50% stretch. Cotton lycra, cotton jersey, stretch mesh, or stretch lace.
