Waterford Cut Crystal - LISMORE - Individually Sold Wine Glasses Excellent wine hock in superb condition from the world famous Irish glass manufacturer Waterford which had first produced quality glass for nobility and gentry in Waterford, Ireland in 1783. Legend has it that Irish glass gives sweeter sound than any other glass when tapped, it is softer and warmer to the touch and that the older Waterford glass could be identified with it's blue tinge. (Waterford, An Irish Art) MEASURING 15 cm just under 6" tall, 7.5 cm. 3" in rim diameter, these lovely glasses are in excellent condition. They are stamped with the etched WATERFORD stamp. What a better way to sip a drink to celebrate the New Year but from a Waterford crystal glass. Add them to your collection or give them as a gift.
