This is an e-book tutorial with complete instructions on how to draft a ladies' trouser pattern using custom measurements. This booklet goes into great detail and includes full sized illustrations and diagrams to make the process as easy as possible. The basic sloper trouser pattern can be adapted once it has been drafted for many different kinds of trousers. Instructions are also included for adapting the pattern to two different types of shorts. This tutorial is based on a classic 1940's trouser/ short style. This booklet is just what you need to make pants that will always fit perfectly! Please note that this is a traditional, industry-standard pattern drafting method. This tutorial does not use our special rulers or mini pattern templates. A yardstick or meter stick/ ruler will be necessary, along with a large sheet of paper. A waist curve or french curve (great tools for any intermediate to an advanced seamstress to have around for drafting and pattern alteration) will be helpful, but not strictly necessary.
