An exquisite brass sculpture of the hindu god Krishna dancing with his left arm and leg raised in delight wearing a peacock feather in his head dress holding a butter ball. Handcrafted in brass with a copper and gold patina, Krishna is seen wearing a decorative belt around his waist and a typical mischievous smile playing on his lips. Krishna is the Divine cow herder fondly known as 'Balakrishna' and is the 8th avatar or incarnation of Lord Vishnu, most loved and famous for his mischievous acts as a child and his role with Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita.   Balakrishna - literally meaning the child krishna sometimes translated as divine child krishna is historically one of the early forms of worship of Krishnaism.  A collectors items indeed!
