Pre-Owned Howard Miller 610-979 Vue De Paris Grandfather Clock in perfect condition. Previously owned by a collector that downsized. These were produced about 2005 as a premium series clock by Howard Miller. French flair and illustrations of famous Paris landmarks set this delicately styled floor clock apart. Finished in Tuscany Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers, it also gleams with silver tipping on the intricate carvings and overlays. An elegant shell and leaf carving graces the bonnet-shaped pediment, and the same motif appears again on the mid-door and the sculpted base. A matching medallion overlay completes the front panel of the base.

Carved pilasters with the shell and leaf motif frame the top and mid-doors. Ornate corner and center castings draw the eye to the brushed nickel-finished dial, featuring black Roman numerals, a silver-gold finished chapter ring, and a moon phase complete with landmark architecture of Paris- the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral. The wood pendulum features a round brushed nickel-plated bob which, along with the brushed, nickel-finished weight shells, complements the dial. Beveled glass finishes, the mid-door, and mid-sides, while removable, upper side glass panels allow easy access to the movement

Cable-driven, Westminster chime Kieninger movement features an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. Locking door for added security. Adjustable levelers under all four corners level clock on any floor. Fully serviced and running perfectly.
