You want to make riveted-solid mail as they did in Roman time and throughout the middle ages? Not only does it save time - it is also stronger at a lower weight! Look no further: These solid chainmail rings are economically punched from a metal sheet. With this, you can focus your time on riveted rings and grow the mail faster. Excitingly these rings are in accordance with the dimensions and appearance of some famous historical examples of riveted solid mail. They match museum pieces like the Tofta-Coif from 13th-century Sweden and the Edinburgh Coif from 14th-century Scotland, as well as earlier and later finds. By analysis of the metal structure, it is known that these solid rings were not made from wire but from a sheet. We'll be honest with you: A varying share of about 10% of the punched rings are cut at the edge of the sheet and are thus not perfectly round. Some people even like that for an original look.
